I wouldn't call those polygons huge, or anything to worry about. Even tiling ratios can be handled in the UV's (assuming those polys have their own UV layouts and aren't shared with any of the littler stuff). You're right, the butt and shoulders do need working. The edge looping/detail in the ass is unnecessary, just stick with a grid layout there. The shoulder is very busy and has little flow. There are several other areas where it looks like you've pinched off edges to save on polycount but the result will be poor deformation… -

All made from scratch. All those tree generator programs just seemed too complicated... when doing it all yourself, you're getting exactly what you want - complete control over how everything looks. The tree variants actually didn't take that long to make, once I had the basic layout for how the planes were to be arranged… -

My material Ids overlap, so render to texture normally will overlap them when rendering. It sounds like 2 is the best option as I can save the uv layout, and just call it up everytime I need to switch material ids. So I dont have to go to a previous saved version of the file. Still, a time waster. I cant understand why… -

nice stuff ... i always like your texturing, very sharp! i would definitely add the windows from the concept, they can have a lot of nice detail (hinges, screws, rivets, glass bulb) and really make that wall less boring. and yeah as some people mentioned the art test is kinda meant to help separate out those people who… -

yes... even the best planned unwraps can go wrong... like some doofus showing the part of the mesh in the game you used to hide all the stretching and seaming... and that you told him not to use. :P Take a tissuebox for example, you need to cut the box apart so that the entire thing lays completely flat, those boxy objects… -
