Next gen weapons will be around 25-30k, atleast that is what they use in the first batch of FPS coming up now. Looks nice to me Now you use a lighter material, but also a lighter background lol ; ) -

CAT is nice but it is no wonder weapon. It allows for cool stuff for prototyping like the auto walk-cycle but at the same time it's a generalist approach. If your creature needs a very specialized rig, it's probably better to create it from scratch. -

FYI, I've had the "both die at once" thing too, yet we both used bullet based weapons... Which, the actual chance of that happening in a game should be near enough zero you would think? -

Marathon / Marathon 2: alternate fire triggers and akimbo weapons. Get two pistols or shotguns and kick it John Woo style. Marathon also has load sequences, but I dunno if it predates Dr Radiaki. /jzero
