@Alex Javor I don't think the modelling of this car is portfolio worthy, even with more time spent texturing. I'd suggest pushing on and starting a new vehicle, while practicing sub-d, multiple meshes, even distribution of polygons, and more complex shapes.
so how close do you come to the char? is the seam visible in engine? try those things out mate, IF you'd zoom out, the seam will be practically invisible. Don't hang yourself up on these small issues. It will hinder you more then help you.
you spelled environments wrong, dont break your portfolio down like that , just post your best works. I would recommend keep practicing and gets some full fledge works done. Alot of your work doesn't look finished
Hi Popol!, Thanks!!. The Jacket is of leather, the border of the hood have a material like "rain cloth".In this work I exaggerated the wrinkles, maybe too much, but I wanted an atractive shape, my idea was practice the draws and the curves of the clothes. Sory for my english.Cheers!
Well we can all agree that really the inexperience of negotiating pay does put the artist at fault if they don't try to ask around and see if their offer is fair, but that being said, it doesn't make these practices at all right or ethical, in my personal opinion of course.
Yeah all you need to do is remove out the unecessary loops and rebuilding her form around the basic loops, after a few practice you get a clearer idea on how the face is like. but yeah solid engle flow so far on the face.
That is a really good idea. Marmoset has some good info as well: https://www.marmoset.co/toolbag/learn/pbr-theory https://www.marmoset.co/toolbag/learn/pbr-practice Can you post your maps? Something isn't looking right in your metal.
but in his case it's just random pieces beeing stacked, not elements that would share the same texture? so in general yeah this is a very common practice, bt only on pixes that actually share the same uvspace to use the same texture, not like it seems to be done here
Serious, man? I thought you're a self-teaching kid with your anatomy here but your link says you have....a Bachelors Degree in Game Art & Design. Is that for real? :poly122: But whatever your intent, any practice is good in my book.
My problem is writing WIP. I always want to finish some stage first before showing it. In practice my estimates become blurred and time is running out. So, I will show what is done and will continue to work on modeling, because it is not finished yet.
