Beautiful mechs. Can't wait to work on projects where I can have 4K texture sets, let alone 2k. I'm stuck with 1024 sets for first person weapons, and 512 sets for console version.
Some spec would be nice, but he said there was no normal... For the animation; make that weapon bounces! And his mass center needs to get lower since the character moves lot of weight while running (He's kinda...fat).
Deleting symetry line wont reduce poly by half. You still end up with something around 4.9k polys. As for me, it's way to much for weapon. You cloud scrap rounded parts, as they are not noticable in action anyway.
Does vB have a delete account+all posts+created threads feature? I know SMF does and it's a cool button when dealing with complete distruptive douches With a weapon like that, trolls are just a brush of the arm.
I have to practise this but it's ok now . I've tried painting weapons (swords etc.) but I just can't. Could anyone explain it for me? I've been watching tutorials for hours but i doesnt helps. This is the sword :
Quick update. No huge changes as ive been a bit busy for the last few days. I'm going to start working on his weapons and then come back to this guy with a fresh set of eyes. UPDATE: Base mesh for the gun.
yes. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jgi1txjrKZk"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PY1GHtJTKe0[/ame] Blue Moon(with orange slice) always makes me think of Fallout:New Vegas and my energy weapon loadout..) ;)
some totally final fantasy inspired dude. mostly tactics in the outfit, really, a bit of thirteen in the bad sheathe placement, and some 7-8 in the weapon design. erm, sort of. (work in progress, some color possiblities)
I would also suggest going back to the textures and giving them a bit more love. It's reading like a toy right now instead of a weapon. Some of this could also be your lighting set up as well.
Recreate a Prop from the concept of the awesome Guido Kuip - https://www.artstation.com/artwork/A43ZW 7832 Verts - 1 2K texture Map Had a lot of fun Modeling this weapon, making the high poly was really challenging
