hey, thanks a lot, originally I had spinners in there but in my lack of knowledge I started to tell myself "hey text boxes should be simpler with not having to account for the up and down arrows in code :) . Guess I was wrong lol. Thanks for the help once again
Her facial structure still seems a little off, her eyes and mouth are much too high. I feel like you could make the clothing look even more ragged with some clever texturing, try using transparency to make holes and tears.
In terms of composition, maybe you could look at changing where that box lid lands, to keep her silhouette as clean as possible. Instead of it being right behind her, maybe have it shoot off screen to the left over a few frames as she jumps out.
It does look a bit off now that I look closer at it. I'll definitely still be messing around with it. The idea is she's escaping an enemy and her passive is going off so I'm going to have parts of her slowly fading/going invisible. Thanks for the comment! :)
It reminded me of Ellie without reading your post so there's that :P. Her skull is a bit gigantic, and her ears are too far back. As everyone is saying, use references, you can always use other girl photos for the basic placement and then Ellie for the likeness.
Nice work, but her face doesn't feel much like Zelda, at least to me. Maybe you should check her Smash Bros, Twilight Princess and Hyrule Warriors model/screenshots to get some great face references. And thank you for the little tutorial!
Love your model, pretty awesome, nice texture, nice concept. The only thing bugging me his her face, look very stiff, she looks staring and makes her look a little bit creepy imo. Other then that pretty awesome work !!
At the moment I would just say to soften up the muscles. From the reference the muscles look a lot softer and less exaggerated. Her shoulders need to be tapered in a bit and her hips also need to be larger. But, looking good so for everything else. Keep it up!
I decided to have a go at pure non-ironic cute stuff. Heh heh, Gauss what have you started here?! Here's Olly the Octopus. Olly is really good on the coral-organ, playing his jazzy tunes for "Champ the Shark" and "Gurgle the goldfish".
Thanks Hebs. The advice is great. I am currently working on the second version of it and i was planning on taking out the animations, they were only in there because we needed them on our demo reels as part of the portfolio class. What do you think of the Drawing Hebs?
