Yeah they definitely are looking small. Too thin in relation to the torso. Heads more or less placeholder for now until I get in there and sculpt the face/head. Thanks for the CC! I'll be going in with those changes in mind!
At the moment it's landing a spot somewhere doing props or something lighting related. Eventually I'd love to be a big guy up top like a producer or something somewhere, but honestly I'm content with just asset creation.
im sure im wayyy late on seeing this video, i really don't follow Assassins creed, but i found it awesome. [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqAli2r-5BU&feature=related[/ame]
Looking forward to it. Every time i want to texture anything stone/rock related, i go to quixel, since in painter i have a really hard time making those sort of materials believable.
Maybe this is not related, but this happened to me too; however, this happens only if I forget to remove transformations in 3ds max. After I remove transformations that issue disappears. 8 gigs of ram, 2 gigs on GPU
How do these areas relate to the model? I twould be nice to see the model in 3d with the areas marked. What is the alpha for? You might be better off just "faking" the holes here with black in the diffuse/spec.
Looking forward to seeing some updates. As a side project to improve your rendering for your Dalek model I'd suggest looking up linear workflow in relation to rendering and create an IBL and render it in mental ray.
Hey guys. Been quite busy these last few days with non-game related stuff. Just started working on this stones/rubble texture to be painted on the floor along with dust and scraps of paper etc. Thanks!
Thank you @MaoAkari <3 I relate because emotions are a difficult part to paint (I also tend to lose it the more I render things out!) but I'll try my best to keep it genuine!
Particles aren't related to this issue. As long as the bow is rigged properly, there shouldn't be a problem. It's most likely the model previewer. No bow I've heard of uses particles, I was just suggesting that it might be a previewer issue too.
