Minor update tonight. Just began to refine the chest brace/backpack, testing out stitching (might make the stitching smaller). Probably going to go back into the trousers and refine them more too, give them bolder folds and such. Also pulled the hair around nearer to the ear since it was annoying me hah ;)
@yararstss thank you! Yes, this is exactly what my idea is - a hologram effect, atm they are just place holders for the silhouette ;)Today I managed to finish the block-in stage of her weapons. Still not completely sure about the design, it just feels too busy. Some weapon design advises will be of great help!! thanks :)
ok i did a quick mockup with the materials i have, hows this looking? (ignore label textures and cap these are just place holder) i dont think that they are that bad i just feel the glass looks a little fake, would the glass be passable for bottles on a shelf or some background area or is it too bad even for that?
yup, agreeing with everyone else. the typeface is kinda hard to read. especially cuz looks like its getting smaller/thinner/bolder from page to page. check out: http://www.blambot.com/fonts.shtml there are some good (and free) comic dialogue fonts. bottlerocket seems similar to yours and a little easier to read too.
I was amused at two australian actors doing the voice overs for the two characters based on American entertainment icons (and doing a good job at it too) and then reading that the performances were done under license from the rights holders of those (deceased) performers. Since when do you need a license to do a voice…
