      Thanks for the kind words marlfox8. I was just going through your sketchbook and you have definitely improved over the journey. Just keep at it, practice (even while your sleeping) :) and you'll kick butt. Here is another painting, enjoying every minute!

      its cool..but 15000$..for the targeting system and 3000$ for the weapon..I bet the troops would just be happy with an m-16 that was sand proof (I just pulled those numbers from a google..but I'm sure the cost falls nowhere inthe realm of practical)

      The people this hurts are EA's competition and consumers. I would really like to see EA officially reigned in by someone here. I'm surprised exclusitivity deals like this are legal, I thought there was a bunch of anti-competitive laws? This is a great example of un-competitive practice.

      are you making it for an actual mod of a game or just practice? I thought he was just realizing the concept into 3d. The model looks great the texture needs some love. one other thing can we see it at a different angle? or a couple different angles?

      Dig the layout, and that medieval town is DEFINITELY my favorite of all your work. My only question is on the 2d side, why do you have this badass armor with practically no face and a quickly drawn sword. I would just consider finishing this up.

      Just figured I'd point this out, but his name isn't Josh Rice, it's Josh Klint. Also, I developed the Lua interop layer used by his engine. How's the speed on that holding up for you in practice? Aside from that, it all looks good.

      proportions look ok till you get to the head.... Dont be afraid to grab reference. I would reference some topology too..right now it looks like you got some wierd things going on..again specially in the head...keep practicing

      Thanks for the direction guys! I now want to try and do a complete redo of this character, so expect to see that some time in the future. Until then, I took some of the earlier crits and was practicing a bit with this guy. Ha ha! Awesome spandex quote Gauss!

      Working out practical solutions to problems. Let higher management deal with all the vaguer, wackier ideas and schemes, and work directly on the here and now. Whether a problem comes up in art, technical stuff, schedule, or staff, the lead's solutions have to be immediately implementable.
