I am digging this time machine. Can't wait to see final result. Would be cool to see it in UE3 or Marmoset. Get her done and show her off. Also would like to see some wires on the high poly and the low poly.
Alexk: Extension3 for maya2008 has most of the Nex features. Actually, I saw some demos of it at GDC and was completly floored by how much of a blatant rip off of Nex it was. Don't think the Autodesk employees appreciated me pointing that out either :p
So much win! Love her style, and overall design/execution. Great stuff. If i had one crit, it would be her hair being a bit plastic looking. Otherwise, too much good to sift through to try and find bad :)
I absolutely love the painting so far! Beautiful hand painted textures. Her eyes feel a little bit off to the sides of her head though. Realistically, the Iris lines up with the corner of the mouth. She looks a little stretched ;p
Oh wow thanks for the compliment man. There's still plenty of things I'd do over and add to. think I'll just pose her, make her weapon and make one more pass over the diffuse and call it done enough for me now.
@Rambo4you Hi! Actually I'm not Olga, just inspired by her concept works lol) I like her works too) But anyway thanks for the feedback, will fix some proportions soon, wanna finish with assets etc + thinking about final composition.
I'd say the boobs are a bit too big, bigger than the concept, they make her head look smaller. I like her face from the side view, really cute, but yeah I agree with the others for the cheeks on the 3/4 view.
Slowly working my way up this lady's skirt. Her legs and dress are pretty much done. I need to apply some detail to her hair belt to separate it a bit, and I need to darken up that right arm to drop it back.
Hey hey, resurrecting an oldie, but I hope you guys enjoy: There is another session on my site if anyone is interested(or really bored), but it's a fairly boring brush test with a lame 30 second lull when I was screwing around with the blur tools.
She's looking nice. Looks pretty close to the real life version. I think her nose isn't quite right and her cheek bones should be a little rounder in the 45 degree shot. Just small tweaks to really sell the character.
