@CandyStripes05 The highpoly is currently in different scenes with a lot of different objects, It would take time from me which I currently do not have, to collect everything to one scene and render. Maybe in the future ;) Heres what I came up with, with the textures applied, and rendered in marmoset toolbag:
nice work , i love the felling that the scene give .. i have some crtis . is that grass down is a little distracting . and i think barn is your focal point , and it look lit but great work at lighting :) and the scene look awesome . hope to see more soon , that UDK right ?
Lovely shader tricks. It's amazing how nice such low poly stuff looks when the stops are pulled out shader and effects side :D Nice scene, too, it's cool to see that much effort being put into one little scene rather than just some screengrabs.
Thanks guys! gonna turn my storefront into a full scene and place it in there. I'm starting to block in the scene this weekend. Made a quick video in marmoset just because i could, lol. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5v1UY3ImUs"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5v1UY3ImUs[/ame]
Could be several things: Are the lights turned off or deleted? Is the scene setup to be light by scene lights or default ones? Are you using mental ray materials or just the base ones? If you could get a few scrrencaps or your settings I'm sure someone could figure it out. :)
noooo, not so huge please :( it makes the entire scene lose its scale and blocks view. i'd rather see a smaller rocket but some holding mechanism (arms, ladders, whatever) and stuff. i loved every little update of your scene, but this kinda let me down :/
@JKNori Hi thanks for the feedback, interesting that you mentioned modularity, I actually hadnt considered it for this scene as its a smaller scene but it might be worth experimenting with that. The moodboard is a good call its something I dont do enough of, currenly doing the blockout in ue4, more screenshots to come
lol great minds think alike, im doing a similar kind of environment, matter of fact i too have the concept art of the tori arch in my mood board as primary inspiration for my scene. Looking forward to seeing you develop your scene and good luck!
The plaster wall texture is nice. Another crit I had was the proportions on the blockout image are quite far off the screenshot, but you've already attended to that. Lastly, I'd recommend putting something in the scene as a focal point, or framing your scene with some composition. Just something to keep in mind :)
Hello! Nice start! If I were you, I would increase the texture resolution (if possible) on the book. You might also want to check the scaling of the barrels in the scene, they seem slightly small, but it may just be the camera angle. I like the texturing you did on the scene itself.
