yes, uv map the symmetrical parts and either mirror the mesh or transfer the attributes then just move the uv's around so both halves have their own unique space
you might need to use final gather with a large portal light at the opening of your building. that should transfer the image based lighting of your outside environment into the building
ahh i got it working! i've done vertex painting in udk but didn't know vertex color information could be transferred without a map! pretty neat. thanks
Great work and beautiful colors combination. I haven't used Procreate for a while, but the only problem I had transferring files to PS was with some of the layers blending modes.
If I understand the question correctly, tthere's a way to do this using "transfer maps". Don't have maya on this computer, but I'll try to throw a little tut together tomorrow.
