Reset the pivot. Go to the Hierarchy tab (I think) of the right panel, and hit the "affect pivot only." It is the very first button. With the rotation tool active, right click on all the spinners at the bottom of the screen containing rotation values.
Don't forget about the commands to change resolution :3 You can get a lot bigger screen grabs or even *gasp* widescreen ones! haha At any rate, nice work sir, keep at it and keep posting! :D
thanks guys for the comment yes i don't want to give i say it to my self everyday i even wrote on paper "don't give up" set it next to screen not joking but the result gets me frustrated
Yep, that is it. http://www.udk.com/features-rendering.html Moreover, let me ask a rather noobie question: which key is shortcut for capture screen/print image in UDK? I use a qwerty italian keyboard and don't have the tilde.
Looks good so far, I'd almost open up the roof hole a bit more, from the concept, it looks like the hole is a lot larger, but just gone off screen (from the amount of light that is showing on the floor).
Thanks Bunlgo. You screen showed me fundamental flaw in my workflow. I started from big branch and gone to small detals. While I should start from small details and then add them to bigbranch.
I've finished retopologizing/UV Unwrap for Sylvanas. Here's a turnaround of her test bakes and some screen grabs of her wireframes. I hope to begin texturing her soon. Thanks for your time, feedback is always appreciated!
Nope, standard materials. I never use DirectX materials while modeling, just final presentation. Umar6419: Image of what? There's nothing really to show. One minute the model is there, the next it's gone. No screen corruption or anything of that sort.
Thnx xChris! I finally graduated so got more time to work on this now. Added some benches and roof tiles. Up next some more different wallpanels and wires cables etc. Here is the latest screen:
This turned out great! I would love it if you posted some high resolution screen shots and talked about what went into making this piece. I'm interested in how you handled the water and water falls in the level.
