So I worked a bit more on her and figured it is about time I stop neglecting her weapon. I'd love to hear your opinion about which shape fits her the most! :) -Sudhan
here's my reference. http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Section-8-Weapons-Revealed-And-Still-No-PS3-News-17548.html but i based my silhouette to my nerf gun. hard critiques are always welcome.
Thanks so much @doses222 @jmiles @gyllenhaal ! I sculpted the face and will probably start either the lowpoly or doing the polypaint. Not sure... I still got the weapon to design though xD Anyway here is the face.
Nope, the grip's the right size. It's a HUGE weapon, like most Warhammer 40k guns. In real life, it'd have to be tripod mounted, but 40k characters run around waving things like that one-handed.
The game is based on the same type of gameplay as Minecraft and Terraria where you can gather resources, explore and create your own base, weapons etc. Also we just finished the new unblocky terrain! :)
I haven't played Last of us actually. But the repaired weapons and stuff like that sounds interesting. Working on the character right now. Let's see what I come up with! Thanks again for taking an interest in this :)
Great attempt at realistic lighting. Environments look super. Weapons look really good too. Suptleties in the way of reflections and dust/haze in those screens are quite impressive. Cant wait to see some footage.
If you want the briefcase to move in a particular way when attached, then add an extra bone linked to the hand bone, then use Unity to attach/unattach the briefcase to that bone. This is how most games do it, a "weapons" bone.
Unreal Forever has a weapon called the tomahawk which has an alt-fire that creates a small window at the bottom of the screen that you can guide a missle with. http://download.beyondunreal.com/fileworks.php/u4e/U4E-MSU-Edition.zip
thanks for pointing out the bad topology! the smaller weapon is actually a M203 grenade launcher with a different barrel shroud. The handle does look a bit small small, though, I agree. thanks for the input guys!
