Don't thank me until you get it working. Also, for the future, the technical talk forum is more appropriate for these kinds of questions. General Discussion is more a place for tangentially related or off topic conversations.
On a related note, is there any particular renderer that's best if you're going to be doing your final render in Blender's Cycles engine? I've seen some discussion on that, but I don't remember if anyone reached a consensus.
somewhat related, found this one yesterday: ProFORMA: Probabilistic Feature-based On-line Rapid Model Acquisition [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEOmzjImsVc&feature=subtivity[/ame] http://mi.eng.cam.ac.uk/~qp202/
Well I tried with a fresh file just using a cube and cylinder (cylinder was pretty big in relation to the cube) and again it appended it. Have no idea why. I'm 100% sure I'm doing it correctly.
I think he means the pimping and preview SDK thread, where people mostly just post characters. I often had the urge to post something environment related in it but I've never gotten to it.
tangentially related, this made me think of 'nausicaa, of the valley of the wind' with its fungal-esque, eh, fungi and things. What that means is that your sketches have a strong style to them and that you should continue these.

not a character artist myself, but I found this using the google. http://www.cgmeetup.net/home/tips-tricks-related-facial-modeling-animated-productions/ Looks like pretty solid documentation from my view.
It's certainly not CPU-related. I have a 4ghz quad core with 4 additional virtual cores. Do you not have that issue? Performance in those areas is terrible in tutorial videos I've watched as well.
Yeah, it will happen :) I'm also awating a new IP, but who knows... for a new mmorpg, i imagine something related to fantasy like all the other mmos, or if it's something futuristic, kind of RF Online.
