Really really thanks you for this answer, I think i understand how to apply this with 3DS Max> It does a lot of time that I'm a trying to do that :O When I get good results, I'll share some screen with you:)
Update: a post for a bit of laugh at the outcome of dropping this into UDK; also for any advice on how to solve this. >full screen me to see me< [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLPcr2sPnBw"]T-Rex - Animation error UDK - YouTube[/ame] :)
Hello all. I have a problem, my Maya 2012 SP2. When i use wacom intous 3 pen and press shift or anothe key, my cursor going to the left of screen and stick and don't moved from here.
Lately in my spare time, I've had a turn at some low poly modeling, here is a few props which would work good in a game, the shader takes advantage of vertex colouring. Screen taken in Unity, Shaderforge was used for the materials.
Hey @TeriyakiStyle I've split polygroups into separate subtools in the begining. In the first screen you can see I have 2 subtools: baseball bat and nails. But I'll check anyway, maybe I miss some hidden geo. Thanks :)
The high-poly looks great. It seems like you're going way lower resolution on your low-poly then you need to--or, if you're targeting mobile games or RTS with hundreds of units on screen, your texture maps are too high-resolution.
Looks incredible. When I first scrolled down I though ok there's the concept.... oh wait oh dear god that's the textured model o.O I was certain it was just a screengrab of him from the game title screens. Fantastic work!
Or with UDK, the huge ass material editor in one screen and the scene in another. Actually most 3d apps have settings to take advantage of dual monitors. But the main advantage is you don't have to alt tab between different programs as often.
So, apparently Ubisoft and Warner won't be affected by the cuts. Can't find any English article yet, but it's reassuring at the very least. Sucks for the smaller studios, though. http://plus.lapresse.ca/screens/4139dc58-53a4-5937-bf82-53e2ac1c606d%7C_0.html
vsync reduces tearing, if it looks like the image or screen is getting ripped in half, that is tearing and you need to turn vsync on to fix it. If you don't see it or notice it, don't worry about it. This is tearing http://i.imgur.com/mbmZe.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ilGfj.jpg
