^^ that. I cant imagine why you'd need more toys. Its much faster in the mini trackview than in the main window if speed is the issue. Its easy to script copying of a single frame - more involved if you want a range
Beautiful. Love the ejecting shells on this, makes it that much more believable. Are there any other scripts you'd recommend for hardsurface in maya? I'm working in default settings at the moment and find that my work is a bit slowed down by lack of hardsurface tools.
If you have a UDK source licence, sure. A quick grep through the UDK script source doesn't come up with options to turn self shadows off, just the known options for no shadows at all or self shadow only.. etc.
Usually when this happens, i rename the following folder. C:\Users\[USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2013 - 64bit Then start 3dsmax 2013, it will create another settings folder. All your settings, custom scripts will go.
Hi! I know this thread is a few years old now, but I want to download this script. When I google it it says that it's free but on gumroad he's asking 8 USD. Anyone know where I can get it for free?
Haha, wow, am I the only one that read "less than employed"? I guess I've been scripting too much lately. Well, glad I was wrong, and you are in fact "= employed"! Congrats on the job man! :D
Thanks for fixing that pasha_sevez :) That script seems to Uninstance all the instances in a scene very handy but I what i want to do select all instances in a scene or get a list of them. If that makes sense ? Not sure if that's really possible though.
Hum, I think the main problem of Unity is about the shader. Didn't find a way to make a shader composed with diffuse, specular and normal map together, unless you download a shader node editor or you have to write a script for it.
Yes, you need the android sdk installed. You need to write it in C# or Unity Script. You can mix them, C# gets compiled first, but it can cause issues. Write it all in one language if you can.
Great clever automation. Obviously I mean setting the hi-poly list once and forever per object. Or a group maybe. Or - Blender would need a way to access objects in external scene files from inside a Python script.
