The central shape seems skinnier in the concept than in the blockout, maybe reel that in a little bit. The 2 circular shapes on the top right a are looking ever so slighting too large. The circular shape you have next to the 2 back flappies looks like it should be more of an oval. Solid blockout though, and it's an…
Super useful comments guys :) With "" connect "" I was referring to adding edge loops between 2 edges by selecting the 2 edges and typing in how much connections/ edges you want. I would try out all your suggestions and give feedback if it wasn't for me just hurting my lower back when biking /cry.

UPDATE So I have the water now as a transparent object, but now i'm faced with 2 new problems. One is I need a fog of some sort underneath the water to add depth, and 2 for some reason, only one object can be seen under the water. Maybe the order the engine is drawing them in? Any way to change that?
Yes, what youll have to do is: 1) export your remeshed tool 2) UV tool in Maya 3) import back to Zbrush 4) Project details onto mesh You can also do steps 1 and 2, and then just bake from High Poly Mesh to Low poly in a software package of your choice
Interesting film. The audio from 2:17 onwards (the outside scenes) was a little distracting because of the quality differences, and at 2:50 it's slightly distracting having the main character's head cut out of the frame (rule of thirds etc). Other than those little nitpicks, cool film, hope you get time to make some more!
http://www.sadtrombone.com/ This, uh, this is dumb. Extruding geometry isn't something that translates in the slightest to an insult or something sexual. But, lets turn this thread around. 2 shirts I'd like to see: 1 - All black, with the words SPECULAR written in silver foil text. 2 - Low-mid poly topology of a 3D torso…
if you have a shared UV, select each single mesh and create a 2nd uv channel, and fully pack it from 0-1 UV, with no overlapping. you can load the uvs from channel 1 into channel 2, just remember to upsize the uvs since your channel 2 lightmaps won't/cannot be shared with any other mesh.
Just to point out 2 things, Adding an alpha to albedo doesn't save memory. Adding an alpha to a texture double's it's cost which is basically the same as having 2 separate textures. And btw roughness has to be linear while albedo should be sRGB so basically roughness shouldn't be put into albedo's alpha (unless you counter…
WIP update, sculpted a high poly Soul Reaver and did the low poly. Gonna need to sit down and spend a day or 2 now going through all the diffuse maps :D Thinking of having the Reavers eyes glow along with the runes on the blade, but only faintly, also going to add another layer or 2 in the backdrop. Feedback welcome
