Looking really nice so far. The big handed dude in the first concept is really nice. I really dig the tubeys coming out of his back. The load screen is my favorate part, very nice.
Mop, did you just screen grab the results then? That's what my glow map is like at the minute - black with some bright green sections. Sages Raytrace material idea works with the glow, but buggers up the alpha.
My favourite is the dvd copy protection screen you see before you watch a movie, it is a blue background with the craquelure filter on it. I've also seen the photoshop bricks filter in a front end of a game back in the day.
Just keep a fan aimed at where ever you're sitting, that seems to do the trick. Keeping windows open at night sucks unless you have a screen, I hate having smacking bugs all night...
Great stuff Ge-hoff! Did you do the baking / texturing as well? Got any screens? :) What softwares you guys using over there? Love the shapes and silhouettes. That gun and "wheel" objects are freakin insane.
Amen, brother Rage! I might not be so gung-ho about my two hours of daily exercise if I didn't spend my other 14 hours awake planted in front of my computer screens
Here are screen shots of what I am talking about. The point light is perfectly in the middle. So these 2 pictures should have same amount of light covered on the body. I am using Maya 7.0
The main reasons to upgrade from Unity iPhone basic to Pro are removing the "Made in Unity" splash screen, and bitcode stripping. Essentially it removes all of the unused Unity libraries, shaving a few MB off the install size.
wow brad. thanks for taking the time and helping out. screen grab, tut link, translated 3d geek jargon. this is above and beyond and i appreciate it. will do a few test runs and post results. thanks again.
Theres not even a minute of gameplay, not much of a video but I have to ask myself why would you leak it if you KNOW your not meant to make it public. Title screen looked similar to cod4 imo lol.
