I just really hate the idea of using a $200 device maybe once a year. I'd gladly pay $40 to rent one for a day or take my monitor to a techstore (I know they calibrate to the lighting enviroment but it'd be better than nothing, I want my 2 monitors to match)
Hate or not. Whether you want to believe this was some rogue artist or the fault of an entire team. Where is EA's statement? How long does it take to come out and issue a quick boiler plate "We're Sorry" and "We're doing XYZ to fix it"...Granted it has only been a day since this was released.
George I think you are missing the point. If accepted for the game store to be usable in ranked matches there is no option to remove the team color decals as the game does not allow it. If you want to play unranked matches why pay for a vehicle skin when you can have it for free from the mod link?
If I remember right ( haven't read it since the early 80's ) the africans were portrayed as monkeys. personally when I want to feel reduced to an ornament/caricature I just rent breakfast at tiffanys :nerd: ( it's especially fun to watch with your children for the first time. hah! what fun.. )

Other nodes cover a wide range of functions but it may just be that you can't quite do what you want with what's available. Maybe it's an unusual shading model or something. So the code node allows you to directly write code to get new functions and expand your shader toolbox.
Jessica suggested I added a little value to create more depth, so I choose my fave of the ones I had and did this. This isn't the final lighting scheme, I just wanted to break up front, mid, and background. And thanks Dante!! :D Any other feedback is welcomed :)
Yes Ndo painter is the only thing not working for me. There are no tutorials that show how to work around this as i have alphas that i want to paint onto objects and do wields with but i cant. Finding information is hard for Quixel suite and sure the ones on the site are ok but that is only it everything is working lol
damn looks pretty good man. As far as polycount goes this is pretty round in the cone area and you don't want to lose that sweet detail, but the table can be pretty optimized. Rough estimate i would say 750-1300 tris. Maybe more but I would try to keep it in that range.
Also- here is an older pic of the soldier, with a trench coat. I changed it and just cant decide which is better.:susp: by the way, the xsi demo water marks are from xsi mod tool. the mod tool doesn't have a renderer and I didnt want to set this all up in kerkythera, sorry.
