Sure sounds like missing or wrong exe path. Since settings are tied to scenes in Blender it might just be it works fine in one and not in the other. I would make a new scene, set it up and save as default. That's the safest bet to ensure it's always working.
I agree with all the recent crits, but in general I definitely love the changes you made to your night scene. Now it is finally looking like a night scene! Before it was a little too bright all around, kinda still day-looking. Awesome! :]
Just dropping a quick progress update on the scene, going with diffuse-only, unlit shading. Probably gonna end up making 2 scenes, 1 textured with a single 1k map, and one where I just go wild and bake lighting into the textures
I couldn't believe that hand-painted scene was 3D until the camera started moving. Really awesome work!! For the realistic scene it would have been cool if the candles were flickering and if there was a bunch of food on the tables. I liked the funny posters and stuff though :)
Oh boy that enviro came out great! <3 I kinda hate the Zidane but then again he won't really be the focus of the whole scene anyway so who cares. Can't wait to see the final scene. Great work! We're watching! o:)
yes i did, 3 times, 3 different versions. downloaded from the udk website and installed them. then i took the files for the scene and placed them into the folders under c:/UDK/versiondate/engine/content opening the scene will crash no matter what.
Not bad, looks just a bit oversaturated/ contrasty though. An environment asset like this you want to make sure will be able to show the general lighting and "feel" of your scene. Now get this sucker in UDK! http://www.udk.com/download Good luck on the future scene.
Hi guys. I bought the Hourences Solus Project and it's helped a lot with getting more familiar with UE4. Anyways, I'm about to move on with the scene. I've really been trying to nail the blockout to ensure the rest of the scene comes together. Here are some images.
they could have redeemed everything bad about this movie by having one scene in it. This scene would involve a shotgun (or a rocket launcher)......in an empty room, and once the LONE MARINE grabs it the walls drop down and........well you know the rest. then it would be a DOOM movie!!
Thank you for your kind words and for the feedback! You are right, I should have made the scene itself more dynamic, it feels pretty static to me now as well after you pointed it out, haha. Well, next scene will be hopefully better :)
