I haven't played the Stalker games yet (Although I own them on Steam) but I've always wanted to play/work on an open world FPS MMO in an apocalyptic setting like that. What Eld said could be awesome if they could have a big enough world for it, or just find a good balance with the amount of players on the server. -

I'd rather pay Unity $75 a month than pay Epic $19 plus give them the potential to eat some of my profits that would already be getting devoured by Steam and/or iTunes. I don't have to pay Unity anymore when I'm done developing, but Epic could be getting checks from me for years. -

Hey! We are a big fan of the skins you made but were disappointed that we didn't see them submitted as a final entry on these forums on in CoH2's Steam Workshop. Belated thanks for the paintover, crazyfingers. I'll play around with getting a DOF blur effect later on, but actually I might use it to put more focus on the brightly lit structure. I think I prefer a blueish sky fog. I'm finally back on this project and it's full steam ahead! Here's today's update on the concept: -

thanks for that link, looks great and I bookmarked it I think I may have found my answer, Steam has Crysis Warhead and it says it includes Crysis Wars... so I guess I just get that, install the latest Wars SDK, downgrade to max 2009 and I'm good to go, I hope! -

Looks pretty cool. Is there any particular reason why you made it all one mesh and used no floating geo? There seems to still be some wobbly's on the normal map. I like the colours though. Also, it seems there's some loops on the main large pipe at the top and the small steam pipe out the side that aren't needed? -

@jntucson the shelf looks like an award or a shadow box of some kind. I don't think its a useful item but more of one placed for decoration. Alchemy award maybe? The lower pots might be alchemical still heads, they're usually configured with alembics to act as a refining container that takes in the steam generated. -

Yea I will make them Bigger, I added you on steam btw. maybe we can talk about the set there. :-D I also have some Ideas regarding custom particle effects. (The salves are place holders for some shiz) Some change still a long way to go. :D -
Re: How much could be automated in the future?
Automation isnt a bad thing, I'm pro basic income but it could mean making a No Man's Sky-like scale or something on the level of Star Citizen becomes more accessible to more people. Then we'll need the time of course to enjoy everyone's work which is already hard enough with steam backlogs etc
