Have you tried the built-in Generator tool? I've been using it to spit out PBR layer groups for our glTF tests, works great. No need to press any buttons, it just works in the background, saving the textures as soon as I make any edits. Not sure if that's what you're after.…
The head is looking very nice. well done. a bit of feed back, i think the buttons are a bit too small. manly on the close up image. I think as well he is a bit cressless, i would defiantly go to town with some cresses. I really like the chain necklaces how how you have done this. well done keep it up.
Ok here we go, a bunch more work has gone in. New features- -Light and ambient Exponents. -New object button -Make swatches, so far this just puts the swatches conveniently in a box for taking the screenshot, clipboard will take me some more work! (got to make a new panel if you add more objects after, i'll fix that later)
I didn't know about mechanical keyboards either. Interesting. I wonder if we'll even be using keyboards in 10-30 years. I'm gonna go for a cheaper one at the mo. Think I'll pick up a microsoft 400 - it seems to have good reviews for a basic keyboard. Was looking at the Microsoft Sidewinder X4, but doubt I'd use those macro…
I've managed to fix this kind of. My UI had a EditText box using getSavePath to determine it's .text value, for some reason the string variable given it's value by getSavePath was clearing itself between the user choosing the file location and hitting the export button in the UI. So now I just read the .text value and set…
Thanks Teddy. That helps a little but when I want to view the change in 3do I click the High quality preview button and then it starts again (Completing pending document save operations) Long wait. Is there another way to view the change in 3Do without it going into (Completing pending document save…
That looks like a typical remesh to me. Remesh just creates a new unified skin based on the object and appends it as a new subtool. You'll need to manually use the separate Project All button to transfer the original shape back to this new mesh. Dynamesh is a different feature. It retpologizes the subtool itself and…
A bit of a bump. I was looking through a folder with some old images while browsing the wiki, and I noticed this particular image shows another benefit: By rotating the edges with some intersected geometry, we can round out the 'glass' a bit at no extra polygon-cost. This is quite a specific situation, but it can also be…
It's nice to see a variety of work on your sketchbook. One thing I would recommend is to add some more detail to the vest, such as fabric seams, stitches, and perhaps some zippers or more buttons. I think that you should also add some more color variation in the specular map, and study how different fabrics react in the…
Yeah so, maybe you could make a copy of the mesh, and then the script could have a button for "use as cage" or whatever. Even better yet would be something automatic in the cage that makes a copy, adds the displacement function with a slider for strength or something, and automatically exports that with the lowpoly....…
