     that trick is a classic really i just recently saw it used again in far cry 2 and it doesn't waste any texture space if the texture is made to tile anyway :)

     very much depends on what kinda workflow your using, and how you want to work. For the best visuals i would use Unreal Engine 4 or Cry Engine.

     Get at least a 860M or 960M, anything else isn't really with it if you are planning on using a modern game engine like UE4, Cry Engine, or Unity with the settings cranked up.

     In the comics, they transformed into different vehicles -- FYOOTURE vehicles! -- but reconfigured themselves for purposes of stealth upon their arrival on Earth. Hey, are they going to refer to Mars as Cybertron? If they refer to it as Mars, I'll cry.
