Scene Size: The file size would probably only be that large if everything still has it's modeling history intact. You'll want to select anything static and hit the Freeze button (lower right corner, under Edit). For anything that is weighted to a rig, you'll want to hit the FreezeM button in order to keep the envelope…
My suggestion would be to try modeling guns based off concepts or references quickly, instead of trying to design and model a gun quickly. The design doesn't make logical sense and doesn't work aesthetically either.
So I did some tests and it seems the damage you take is tied to the velocity you travel at, and it ramps up quite quickly to the point that you can quickly die if you don't pay attention.
The little thumbnail selections should be at the top of the page, not at the bottom. It should be as easy as possible for the user to get into your galleries as quickly as possible. Show them the content as soon as possible, and guide them to more content just as quickly.
Another important point. In the working metro, there is very little graffiti. It is painted quickly enough. And in an abandoned metro there can not be so many whole things, lamps and glasses. Vandals very quickly turn everything into garbage.
It is a pity though, that the md3 Quake3 exporter for Blender is still not really functional, but with the release of the Quake3 source code this is going to change quickly I guess (or the Quake3 source code is going to be changed quickly to accept md5 )
Hey guys! Wanted to share this simple yet handy tool to quickly align objects or components to world axis. I made a marking menu to quickly acces to the desired axis with a hotkey. If you are interested I might upload it soon.
the box nearest the character and the cloned version in front of it a little off to the left the top of that seems wider than the reference i am almost sure that this is just cause you wanted to block it all out quickly and is no where near done. Hope that wood flooring gets added, i think this would benefit greatly if you…
Ahhh nice Ryan... I have tried to show people in the past the benefits of master materials and the use of submasters and how quickly you can create variants from those and quickly make changes in your scenes.. Nice stuff..
so you lose a viewport in order to have the outliner on screen? seems a bit counter productive? how do u get that viewport back quickly if u need it eg switch quickly between right side view and outliner?
