I think you'd be better to turn off the blending so you have nice sharp details. It's come up pretty nicely though. Only thing that really stands out at this point is the shading on the underside of the icecream is a little harsh. We did scale down the gun to balance it a little better. The gun will stay facing for gameplay reasons ( firing while moving ) but we'll keep an eye on this… -

That bottom pic looks pretty nice. Adding some material variants on the ground and making the rocks and stuff out of actual statics would help. Using statics + terrain you could then use the mesh paint tool inside of UDK and blend the static meshes into the terrain a lot easier and that would be a HUGE help for everything.… -

You can set up an orthographic camera with a texture-friendly frame size (1024² for example) and make the animations in Maya or Blender with morph targets, animated materials etc. Then render as an image sequence that you import as an animated texture into the game engine. Yes, you can do it in SP. Just import and apply your textures to the respective channels of a fill layer. Right-click the layer and choose 'add paint'. Now in the channels dropdown select each channel and set the blend mode to 'passthrough'. Now when you use the clone stamp tool on the 'add paint' you will see the effect… -

The only thing that stands out is that you have quite varied colour on the cobbles which might cause the tiling to possibly be a bit obvious. Anywhere with universal health care is a blessing. In the US, that ambulance ride with no insurance would cost you an arm and a leg...with insurance, maybe just an arm. My first thoughts would be 2 high-res tileables with blending to minimalize repetitiveness. Sculpting and creating unique UV wouldn't fare well with huge assets. If you have any possibility to use something like a unified detail map like we have in CRYENGINE it could work though. Would need to know more about the engine…
