Just gonna give my input, achieving truly a photo-realistic scene is a challenge, even in these modern game engines. One that I always fall short on at this time, but in my next scene I'll reach it! <- I say this every time :D
BringMeASunkist has got it spot on, some fantastic advice there. I agree, I think you should focus on the lighting of the scene to get the mood right first because at the moment your scene is very grey, dull, and lacks any real atmosphere.
Hmm, last month there was a prop option as an alternative to doing an entire scene. My vote for the props would probably be the knives While for the scenes, I like this one. As a noob modeler, I'm really looking forward to participate in this thread for the very first time! :)

This is awesome. I love the atmosphere in the exterior and interior. I took a look at the behind the scenes stuff you posted and saw that you showed the ToD settings for the interior and exterior. Were they two separate scenes, or can you really have two ToDs?
The issue I have with your screens is the washed out ness about them. It's like there's no shadows and thus the scene looks flat and dull. The lighting will seriously make this scene if you do it right. I hope you can find the right settings.
@PHArt - Thanks for feedback, scene with posters looks better (I think :) @eY3lEs5 - Thanks, I've changed the lighting a bit.I think it's looks better now. @mttjss - I've added more colours in to the scene :) Also here is an update :) thanks guys for feedback !!!
I think I'm going to call this done, even though it's not exactly perfect. I'm getting pretty anxious to move on to my next scene. (Trying to get six solid scenes done before the end of December for my portfolio. No small feat.)
Yeah but this works only with directional light, so this means that it works only with exterior scenes. In totally closed, interior scenes, where you don't have a directional light, because you don't want sun, you will still need to bake lightmaps.
Really nice texture work. Although i would get them into a scene with at least base colours on stuff. Otherwise you might find that when you piece the whole scene together your colours on your textures need balancing/changing.
