Thanks Feanix! I forgot that you're THE Pieter Mans, creator of that awesome lava field environment. I'm a third year at Staffs :D Anyway, I'm de-railing the thread, sorry!
Hi! This seems strange indeed! Would you mind posting some pictures of this? What inputs are you feeding in to the project and what Calibration profile are you setting up in the "Base Creator"?
I'm really excited that the franchise is finally returning to its original creators. Been following Kambeitz and Cunningham ever since i first played homeworld back in the day. Looking forward to this!
Another human-ish house, i followed a concept i found somewhere on this site, and I would give cred to the creator if I could remember where the hell I found it.
That may actually be a good idea. Have the thread creator create "master" posts, then comments under each post. Would keep all the work together, and all the comments still intact.
actually discreet were the original creators of 3ds max, and then they got bought up by autodesk. www.discreet.com will redirect you to autodesk.com but max was already fairly bloated during its earlier days.
[ QUOTE ] kinda reminds me of BF2 [/ QUOTE ] No wonder, considering a lot of guys who worked on it are the creators of Desert Combat. I'll give the demo a shot this weekend as well. Looks nifty.
yea on the directors cut its "fucker"(just pulled out the dvd to check) the regular one was "father"(referring to Batty's creator, Tyrell for both words) Chub ur up. -46th
Now KojimaSan is right there with J.K. Rowling in keeping a mother wolf's instincts about protecting their babies. That's how it should be done. Creators, read your contracts and protect your rights. Scott
Yes, if anything UDK's lightmap creator is okay at best and seems to break a model up into an unnecessary amount of pieces. Making it in Max gives you 100% control and will create a nicer result.
