as an artist, portfolio is pretty much everything, i would not worry. Its a nice bonus and adds credibility, especially if you are going for high positions in the future. Try push 1-2 new assets, newest are always your best and the next one could bring you that important jump -

most definitely. just beginning, but ill definitely do that. just started humanoid characters probably 2 months ago or so, but i shall definitely do some anatomy based stuff in the immediate future. I sadly just need a job right now or ill be homeless :P -

I'd be happy if I didn't have a 2nd Gen iPod touch... or Apple released hardware in a way that didn't lock people out from future developments. Lovely strategy though, just throw it away to upgrade. I want/need to get an iPad, but rumors of another version are abound... -

dustinbrown: Oh wow. That makes a lot of sense (the posing before hand idea). I think I assumed that Zbrush worked in triangles. It seems like when I zoom in really close or turn on the polyframe all I see is triangles. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future. Thanks. -

Thanks for the input guys I appreciate it even the blunt critique. I'll be working on organizing it and hopefully working on the presentation of the game-res models I have done. Might you guys have some information to help with how I should present my game res models in the future? -

While it's consistent with the concept, I think it'd make a lot more sense for you to rotate the weapon on his left hip (I'm guessing it's some kind of fancy future sword) so that the grip is at the front. As it is, he's going to have enormous difficulty reaching and drawing it from its scabbard. -

Hey guys, I know this thread is long dead but I'd just like to say thanks. The thread helped me learn a lot for college and I feel a bit better prepared for the future and what choices I'll make. Very educational :) Hope you guys have a good one! -

@ Kharn: Well there are going to be hard riots in the future :D The two gatling guns a kind of deterrence and they could shoot rubber bullets too. @Bao92: Thx Dude :) @Ciril: Thx Ciril, cool idea. Have to look if some tubes fit in the knee joints, only place that looks appropriate for that.
