It depends on how stylized you want to be but I feel like you could make the transition between the gold and the edges of the axe a bit more blended. Perhaps make a few discolourations on the metal so its not so flat. Looks nice and as others have said the small dwarves holding up the head of the axe are great :smile: -

The makeup feels a little too painted on as opposed to blended in. Try lowering your intensity and de-saturating your tones before painting. Also, those pores seem a little too big. They should be smaller and not so deep. Everything else is looking really great though. I love those weapons. Super sweet. -

Really nice work! Dude's got character. Does his cornea have a bump? Looks a bit flat judging from the reflection. I like his eyebrows. Maybe you could add some slight occlusion to the skin texture where the hair is though (brows as well as scalp hair, etc.), to have it blend in better. -

@ Mik - You really don't want midtones unless you are blending between two materials ( non metal and metal). Especially with something like rust. You will end up with something that is giving off orange specular (which rust doesn't) and is very dark in the diffuse. I would keep it close to either end of the spectrum, but… -

Kend, marry me. This is some high quality, next-gen, inspirational over-the-top shit right here! However, before you do away with the mohawk, perhaps blend it in with some stubble around the scalp? Even some short hair would work. The also shows it bending down forwards, so it's a little less waxed. -

No, not at all. Face FX takes sound files with optional text, plus predefined face shapes on a rigged model. It analyses the audio data to get the sounds, and then uses a mapping to blend the face poses to create new poses for each key of animation. Nothing like the Depth Analysis tech.… -

Aye, I'm giving RadeonPro Render a try since it seems like a professional OpenCL accelerated renderer, but it just breaks the lighting completely. It looks like a tonemapped AO buffer when I render the scene, and there doesn't seem to be any RadeonPro equivalent material to the composite maps. There's the blend material,… -

Not sure. Haven't looked into it in a while. I've been using the GPU baker. Roll on the day when dynamic lights are equal/better quality than baking and we can finally say f@@K off to lightmaps! ;) Unless you're doing clean/crisp arch-vis work then a lot of those bleeds will be hidden by texturing. -
