Grumpy Batman printed and airbrush painted. That are actually 6 parts, mouth area, mask, eyes and eyeballs. You can rotate the eyes and replace them with white ones or even could put lights inside.
Until now I used the tone mapper post processing effect, where the "Auto" setting usually yielded a filmic look but it was also a bit too dark to my taste. This looks like a nice replacement for that
Looking good man, I would say that the metal around the abdomen and as the trim for the hanging cloth is a little misplaced, it wouldn't flex at all. Maybe a replacement of material? Like a tough leather or something to contrast the cloth.
Really nice work in your folio, as for the site well it's functional and does the job. I'd be tempted to replace the high poly thumb with the pistol instead, just feel it's a stronger and more interesting piece to look at for a thumbnail :)
We'll get there eventually. I fully expect opensubdiv and displacement maps to replace what we use now some day. I think the next big technology push will be in dynamic light rendering though.
That confused me too, but I think it was a typo, as later in his post he talks about how easily you can replace a GPU, so I assume he meant the importance of CPU in zbrush.
I like the idea to replace TB's weapons with actual blades a lot. His items generally are pretty random which causes most of them to look more or less the same (I call it the spectre-dilemma).
so, what I did to 'fix' it or atleast work around it was to copy the same mesh from an earlier rig file and just paste it in and replace the old one. Seems to work. Maya, you so crazy.
I don't think onlive will ever replace high end hardcore pc gamers, but I like the idea that it allows casual gamers to play a non console game without spending a thousand bucks on a computer.
^ I have to agree on the above, producing content for an open source project or mod or something proves you can work to a style in a team, and means more programmer art like mine can be replaced :p
