Lookin good, for the rocks I'd say try to concentrate the moss where the rocks meet and there would be more water retention, and add slight vegetation to these areas as well. I like the fall look.
hey, the atmosphere now became just awesome, I love that sunset light rig! Nice vegetation as well No significant suggestions from my side though. Just watching for now lol.
I think if there was some variation not just the blades of grass but other vegetation then it would be great, no matter how many tweaks, so he should take it back to photoshop and paint in some variations.
Hello all, I like to show you some of my work I did for Crysis 3. Props, vegetation and lighting by Crytek. For the big riverbed structures I mostly reused textures of the hydro dam at the beginning of the game.
Awesome work! I'm sure this isn't the case irl but it'd be cool to see some mountains/landscapes out in the distance beyond the windows. Also some vegetation hanging down from the roof on the outside.
Liking this angle at the moment. Had an idea to include a subway going by. Who know's, might animate it going by B) . Going to clutter up the scene a bit more. Junk, signs and some areas of vegetation.
Depending on what you are showcasing try to avoid using anything that you didn't create (such as the day 1 vegetation you get with UDK). Also, try to include model statistics such as polycounts and texture sizes.
This is incredible man! I can't wait to see a breakdown of this, you are fucking killing it bro!!! Can you please post some screenshots of your vegetation shader? How are you getting that translucent scattering?
Looks really cool! I little more vegetation would look good and help it feel more Last Of Us imo, but that could be more of a job for the texturing stage. Either ways, great work!
Since your used to UDK I guess your familiar with tiling textures? Id go that way judging from the info you provided. Break the tiling up with vegetation and decals. Good luck!
