Gunnars are actually quite cool. I have a pair, I tend to forgot to put them on but whenever I do I am really glad. The yellow tint blocks the bad blue rays, contrast is increased, and they have a very subtle magnification and warping going on making you feel "inside" the picture. I really quite like them ! They feel very…
i disagree with Helba. i dont think they're stretched or blurred at all. (these spoiled kids nowadays with their fancy dynamesh.. psh!) the sculpts are coming along great BUT i think that you could benefit greatly from not using a standard noise brush. i would grab some alphas with unique details (plenty on pixologic.com)…
Same Problem... Maya 2014 x64 Windows (SP1/SP2/SP3/SP4) - FBX Crash (50%/50%) :) OS - Win 7 Pro SP1 x64 ENG (Updated/Clean). UAC/DEP - Disabled. Maya run as an administrator. FBX Preset - Default (2013-Version with Smoothing Groups Enabled). The same situation :( P.S. Of course, i'm already tried 'clean' preset for FBX…
Actually, your patterns could be just applied in the psd's provided by relic. You will have to find places where they grossly don't line up, but it's definitely doable. As far as color references go, georider has advised me on many occasions to look at plastic scale tank modelling sites. Especially look at decal makers…

@Tynew, yeah I've applied everywhere in the UK, literally. I've kept in contact with the guys at TT Fusion. I re-applied recently but was turned down although this was at TT Games who make the Xbox / PS3 versions where TT Fusion tend to do the handhelds. I'm still holding out a position may open up in the near future.…
Think of a zbrush document as a photoshop document: it's just an image (it even exports as .PSD). If you want to save the model, save the 'tool' (the 3d model) or project (document + tools + other settings) as Ruz suggested. Saving a tool saves every subtool under it. If you have a lot of separate tools (not subtools),…
Krita's been a pretty big surprise for me. They're focused on the right features (also for 3d texture artists, with tiled painting and upcoming 3d preview and multi-channel painting), and they seem to move a lot faster than similar free programs. If they keep this up I can see them replacing Manga Studio for my painting…
Make sure you save your images for web. Your first two load pretty quick in lightbox, but not the others and it could be due to size and not lightbox. I still hate lightbox though. Take out the character because it's not helping you. also the 4th image has proportion issues with the objects. For example, that PS3 looks…
back 10 years ago? hmm let see ... oh 1999? great, its when console not dominated by FPS like today :) ( i love FPS so much, but i need some variation on my console blu-ray collection) also when PS1 tomb raider look better than PC software render tomb raider ( and then when 3dfx came, pc tomb raider look super kickass)
