its less linear than GOW2. that thing was shooting gallery linear. and the "choose which railroad path you want to take" didn't help much either in delineating the whole experience. of course you're being carroted off in COD4, and its scripted and all that. but its so cleverly done, and some of the levels you can approach… -

Why would you want to create a 16 color image from a 24 or 32 bit one? Usualy, if you want a 16 color texture you paint it that way so you can choose your pallet.
