v1.8 Windows 7 64 When I try to use the reload feature in dDo, I select the map, but after reloading, and checking for example links, it is stuck on the previous version. And when re-rendered of course it is using the old map. Screen shot attached.
Depends on the system specs and art style you're targeting, as well as how large it'll be on screen. In general though just pay attention to the silhouette. if triangles don't help with the silhouette or baking, then they're probably not necessary.
of course a screen of your char would help. ;) if you have a seam, maybe you have some mipmapping artifacts there. if you set your viewport prefs to unfilitered things shold be alright. but this is just a guess...
sounds cool but nothing TOO new. personally i don't like the switcher for max cause i don't want to constantly look on my keyboard. i'd rather look at the screen 24/7 cheers...
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback. Doing the final vert count was a hard one- for most of the game the heli is teeny-tiny on the screen- seems like it'd be a waste to put too many verts or too much detail into it.
Thanks guys! I'll try to add more contrast, bring up the color of the pants and down the color of the hat~ I guess the color difference is because of the mac and pc screen. I'll try to adjust that later~
Normals look much nicer, your screens of the UDK scene look really nice, have you added any special lighting or anything? the props really 'pop out', look forward to seeing this develop :)
I probably could have done without seeing a cut screen to him, but didn't bother me much. I would have preferred if it was visible as Stark walked up, and then saw him hide the game.
Amazing stuff Chris, you made all our characters look as good as fashion models. Having thse shots in the character selection screen helps make it more fun every time i play :)
Started work on the vehicle selection screen today. Nothing fancy just a cool retro car sitting on a platform. Here is a link to view this scene in wonderful 3d: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16956434/TrafficSmash/WebPlayer.html
