Is pixar subd / edge weighting something to consider? or is it actually better to do it with manual edge loops? I was wondering about it some time ago... I have done it the manual way in the past simply for practice, but it sounds pretty awesome
Well, either way, its a good practice mate. It looks pretty awesome. Organic stuff just needs to flow. Its like a toy,you know, where the diffrent parts arent directly attached and they sort of like rotate.

This is a drawing my room mate made like a year ago, i just pulled it up to model it ... I just recently started to do life drawing but i am still far from good. But practice makes perfect!
very cool mesh... can someone tell me if it's standard practice to hide verts inside the mesh like that? I can see what they do in terms of giving some polys/thickness to stuff like the straps to her quiver.
Tried a different process for drawing the armour which I'm finding more comfortable. Still need more practice of course. I like the big gun on the back and think it helps balance him out, so at the moment sticking with that idea.
A guy I know saw some guy driving down the freeway and trying to practice playing a trumpet. That's probably the craziest one I've heard so far. I would have loved photo evidence like yeluis' though
