Even then, lots of things deform but are split into multiple objects with unwelded edges for games. The most common example of this is reused body meshes with replaceable heads, typically the head is broken off into a separate object to be modeled.
I replaced the vertex cluster concept with Morph Targets. Much easier than figuring out vertex handling mechanisms. In the future, I want to use floating bones though. Thanks for the help guys...
Tiny basically does just that, Lycan does this gorillion times in one game, some heroes have death animations that replace the model. It's not that hard to do. But something upgrading with strange modifier is way cooler.
You need to put a character controller in the scene to play it like a game. Or use the 1st or 3rd person template and replace the assets with your own. Check Epic YT channel. There is a ton of beginner tuts.
I had the same problem with my 9800 last year but didn't realise what was wrong until the whole card ended up burning out. Replace it if you can, clean it if you can't.
@ haiddasalami : yeah, but maya applies the value to the upper and lower bend, so you get a full circle by entering pi. @ Mark : no, it's just a nice interface that replaces the paint effects one. The problem is still there.
Hey @lotet thanks, I'm glad to hear that! I'll look into maybe coming up with a logo or something cool looking to replace those copyright labels on the bottom. Again, your feedback is really appreciated!
Hey Skylebones, Thanks for the feed back! I'll be sure to tighten up that lighting and get the focus on the stage over all. Hopefully as i start to replace the placeholder meshes that focus will come into place better.
it looks pretty good. but i really hope that you'll model that builing with glass balcony and replace the generic one on the left with it. :) also, it might be a matter of camera angle but on the concept buildings feel more overwhelming.
I can only suggest to disassemble the laptop, clean it from dust and replace thermal paste, but i'm not recomend do it by your own (because it's a little risky). According to symptoms it's clear for me that this is overheating.
