1. Epic 2. Pinned all of it. 3. Saved all images offline incase of internet goes down 4ever 4. Seriously great work man The details in the the first two props are great, the sense of construction.
so heres the scene currently inside UE4, still got a fair amount of work to do. (god rays are just placeholder assets, they are from epics effects cave sample scene) crits always welcome :D
I also looked at games that have come after the last unreal tournament as well as some of the tech demos. trying to figure out how to concept for the newer aesthetic Epic may have. http://youtu.be/8v3GA9jSasQ
Glad you got it sorted. I understand why .uassets are the way they are but I wish Epic came up with another system for better portability for situations like this, especially considering the frequency of their updates. Not that I'm complaining on that front. :)
Thx guys for the Tutorials  Next update .... I made more details, because I like the screws and this looks more Epic :D I think, the highpoly is done. Next step will be the lowpoly and texture work.
Yeah water shaders should prove interesting and I have no idea about the buoyancy part... Might be one of those things where I need to jump on epics twitch.tv stream to see if its even doable. :\
Sorry I can't be of much help, but have you tried comparing the entities/ actors in epic's maps. Maybe they have something flagged up. Failing that something maybe on here. http://www.icecreamyou.com/ut3.html Greg
Wow, this is some epic stuff. My favorite is the Matrix exos. You did an awesome job with giving a sense of the scale and power of those things, and it really looks like it's being piloted by a human the way it reacts to everything.
I especially like the orchestal version of Erik Satie's Gymnopedie No. 1: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJzYF8FXmRE[/ame] and some Bach played by Rostropovich: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LU_QR_FTt3E[/ame]
Nothing like WoW to inflate my weekly gaming hours :D though I've been keeping it mostly to weekends and late night, after working on my 3d stuff. I gotta get my epics!
