I've got a buddy like that. We haven't played in about ten years, but he still knows dice roll hit modifiers from behind cover for just about any weapon.
I had a similar reaction to the player actually picking up pickups and opening weapon boxes to physically pull the gun out. I really hope that kind of detail is added everywhere in the game.

Daaaamn! That hair is smoking! I think it really makes the whole character makes more sense. Have you any thoughts giving him a weapon? A broken bottle would be cool :P
Here is a screenshot of a little character pack that I am working on. None of the textures are done and I still need to make weapons and a Healer. A very skilled friend of mine will be rigging and animating these characters.
The latest, a little bit of progress, mask adjustments, some hip adjustments, added the hip rag thing. I"m about halfway through the weapons I'll post them when shortly.
I've been using ALL of the new weapons together and they make a really good offensive (and sometimes defensive) combo. It's a much more aggressive and entertaining way to play Engy and I like it a lot.
I see that a lot. Especially weapons modelers, thinking that just because they have a fairly high poly cap they can afford to always use 20 sided objects. Nice example, anyway.
pretty sweet man, I thought it was all 2d at first sight. One thing that bugs me is that those things that hang off of her weapon don't hang down in the pose on the left.
