Retopo done and AO baked currently sitting at 17852 tris which isnt too bad considering I have three weapons that go with my character. Now time to add colour !
Same as Satoshi, the head feels too small (if you're going for realism). Also, I'm no weapons expert but it seems strange to me that the sword's blade would taper so heavily towards the end.
Old thread here. But, starting it up again. I picked up a flipped normals tutorial and I'm gonna use it to hopefully make all the necessary improvements. Blocked in a couple of weapons also.
Heres some progress in the clip of the weapon, bullet still using bases. would love critiques, i tried to add functional damage based on how the clip makes contact whith the gun

A lot better color sheme indeed, I like it a lot more! Awesome quality, only affraid those nice details on the weapon will disappear a bit ingame. But none the less greta job!
LOL!!! Thanks to the very words of praise. I think the jacket is a secret weapon, many small hidden tricks, as you said. Fortunately, few people know this :) I use it for about two years...
Second design! I went a bit more subtle this time, the design becomes more visible as the weapon becomes more worn. A favorite gun should get better not worse with age, right?
I haven't seen the show, so I don't know much about this weapon. But the design seems to be based off an old top break revolver. Which would have no ejection port.
Thanks for your advice and I wanted to ask for your opinion on one more thing, what should I focus more on, like more weapons, more vehicle, more environment, etc.
