It's looking really goood ! Just wanted to say that the rotation of the trident would be more natural to me if it was in the other way (counterclockwise) since he's stepping backward. EDIT : on the first trident GIF*
Someone sounds bitter ;) But totally agree... haha also -Salaries -Stepping up in positions (junior --> regular --> lead --> supervisor) -relocating -networking without coming across as "I want a job!"
There's been ambient discussions on PC's Slack channel about focusing less on motivation, and focusing more on discpline. To me, a baby step to that is making a checklist each day and knocking things out of it.
Thanks for all your comments ! I've started to set up materials in UE4, all the fresnel stuff look way too bright so far but those are just first steps
Go down to the lower left corner, and count up 8 images, also take notice of the other surrounding images, but particularly that one. Then step back and squint a bit... wait for it... wait for it...
Agree with above. The question you need to ask yourself is: What am I trying to accomplish? And then take the necessary steps to outline that. At the moment you're trying to reinvent the wheel, by replacing it with a square.
exactly that's what I was hinting: you limit the painting to a landscape layer. you just went one step further by creating an empty layer, so that it's not linked to the actual "textured" layers
Looks pretty good. I'd suggest fixing the textures though. Right now, there is no material definition in the model. You could also step up a texture size. Everything is kind of blurry.
Put side by side, it's not hard to see where they got the inspiration for those colours. I kinda wish they'd taken the next logical step and done a painterly, Dishonoured art style.
Ged - I don't have a vista system to test on (sorry!) but if you get it working I'd love to know what steps you took in case others have similar issues.
