I think the mouth on the first on is too wide, and for some reason reminds me of a muppet. Second one is much better. What are you going to school to study/which school? Just saw it with my buddies... really enjoyed it, I'm more excited for the "newer" movies that will continue to use the 3D rendering / effect etc. Really impressed at how pixar can pull at your heart strings one second, then bring you back around to laughing at another, I think (personally for me) this is my favourite… -

Didn't get a chance to stay in to long ( trying to finish up something ) but thought it was definetely cool. My only suggestion would be have an open room of chat, so people can get to know each other and talk about techniques while you are doing it as well. The porch and "walkway" would be added onto the store if building it IRL so i don't think those 2 boards would continue on all the way through. They would stop where the porch starts and 2 new… -

Actually, when I modeled this I wasnt planning on normalmapping it at all. It just kinda happened later when I was starting to texture it. I started modeling some highpoly parts to see if it would work and then continued... I cant show you a whole highpoly model since I did them in parts, like first the head, then baked… -

I guess if you want to get a job outside of the country, then it's good to continue on with your studies. As for me, I would have taken the job. I've seen a couple people pass aside an opportunity only to have it come back and bite them in the ass at the end. At least they have shown interest in you, so do as Snemmy says… -

Thanks for looking my portfolio , you might be right about the "abstract" side of many of the sci fi things I have done...although I try to do them in a way that they make some sense at the end... although it might not be that noticeable :( , I will definetly continue looking at more video game art for future… -

Again, what I said it's really what you take out of the school. I am currently enrolled in IADT, and it stinks but I do have alot available to me to use and abuse, I just have to make the time to use it. Free maya tutoring, free use of the render stations, etc. After you graduate you can continue to audit classes and work… -

Hey thanks again for the feedback, I definitely want to continue working on it but as graduation draws to near so does my portfolio deadline so in the interest of getting more than one prop done, I'm going to have to move on for now. The armor is supposed to just be a prop in a full scene, city and all based on the work…
