So how related is this game to the old deus ex games? Do I have to play those in order to get the story or is it unrelated to the older games(new protagonist etc)?
AimBiz: Thanks for the crits, much appreciated. I'll work on the face. The characters aren't really related, just wanted to work on a female for a change. Next up is the ArenaNet internship test.
Does having a hyperthreading CPU, like the OP's Intel i7, make any difference in 3d game art related programs such as Photoshop, 3dsmax, UDK, Zbrush? Or will a i5 suffice?
Apparently a police officer was disarmed by some stranger Good(ish) news, this is not a school shooting from what I've heard. This seems to be related to an armed robbery of a nearby convenient store
There'd be more Polycount stuff if there was work to highlight, but between the beat'em up and comicon challenges, there's not a lot going on that isn't contest related, and what is being done is typically buried in WAYWO
Yeah, I don't have a ticket yet either, nor anything set in stone flight-ticket related, but we should definetely make a polycount hangout at frankfurt :D
Mari is good, is just not easy to use and has a very complex workflow for some users. I rather use 3D-coat or just zbrush polypaint for game related assets.
subscribe to gamedeveloper magazine - they do yearly survey of all agmedev related jobs, art included. Also maybe they have that for free... dunno, u can check on google for their surveys.
Obviously the fog needs work, I think it would be quite cool to see the moon giving some specular reflections across the water's surface.. not in a uniform way, but in relation to the camera.
