Absolutely love this! It's awesome what you've done and thank you for putting it up here for us all to play with. Would i be alright to use a modified version of this in a personal project of mine? And also is there any particular consideration that needs to be taken with Decals with a material like this? As i assume it…
btw, A new version was released 6 days ago... 1.0.1.0 for ZBrush 3.5 and 4.0 Date Released: 1/11/2011 Either this new version obliterates that delay ( alluded to by Bal here and on the draster forums )... or I jes don't notice it cuz I got a really efffing fast computer. But I don't notice any delay with a wireless…
Hey Ghogiel, thanks for the tips! I didn't think about making 2 materials and blending them together, I could do it using masks and layers in painter and achieve basically the same results right? Or is it more time-efficient to do it via vertex color in engine? Now about the decals, I was thinking about doing the stuff…
Small update. I added some decals I worked on today. I didn't want to worry about any copyright issues or anything so I Painted all the decals rather than just copying and pasting them from somewhere. I feel that I didn't go crazy enough with the decals. I'll make some more variations tomorrow as well as placing more…
Hello all! I'm making a classic concert hall, based on "The White Hall" of the Saint-Petersburg Polytech University, commisioned by one of the Departments. When it's done, I'm considering to upload it on UE Marketplace. Right now, I'm making everything in Maya only, and starting to make bakes in xNormal. Blockout: Hi-poly…

Road surface, pothole decals, painted lines and a few other things you would see on a road. The problem I'm having is that mixer is not…
Simple automation tools are easily done by chat GPT. Blender is where it shines actually. What I'd love to see is a kind of deeper Blender customization. A 2d vector editor mode with editable spline brushes driven by grease pensil. The whole "draw" mode is quite inconvenient currently . I want something like "skeletal"…
Thanks! Unfortunately, I have a few issues with those textures. Specifically: - Those textures do are not sampled properly at all if my shader has no decal:add or decal:blend - I get a completely random surface texture within _CameraGBufferTexture0 and others if I attempt to read it from an ordinary opaque shader. -…
Added decals to the floor and walls. Added more rubble and litter. Added some cinderblocks. Pushed out some bricks on the left wall as suggested. Added more geometry to my valve unit. Removed my wood boxes, gonna do a different type of box as I feel I already have alot of wood in the scene already. Crysis really craps on…
