Thanks All for the comments, Sorry it took me so long to respond my internet has been down at home. All awesome crits and stuff to consider in the future thanks! Here are some of the diffuse flats im really lazy when it came to some of these sheets as the spec and bump can hide alot
Ah, I actually meant a diffuse flat, I just said naked meaning without the spec/gloss/norm overlay so I could get a good look at your uv packing. Mine suck so I've been digging for as many that are done well to reference as I can find.
Some of the boards dont support both of the PCI-E at full speed, (one or both slots work at half the speed when used in SLI). So be sure to check the specs if you choose to go for a SLI. I've also been told some chipsets (680i i believe) have stability issues.
I'm surprised there isn't more: "I _____ your mom in bed last night" type responses. "I Unwrapped your mom last night" "I added an extra glossy spec texture all over he face" "After what I did, shes walked like there was no IK on her feet"
Loving the tron stuff, man, looks fantastic. The only crit I could give would be that the dark parts of the bodies are too dark. Like flat black. It might be kinda cool to add some anatomical spec details to bring out the fact that they do have bodies. But that's just a thought, it looks great as is.
Great work Austin, I like how "normal" their personalities appear. I do agree with the comment about the eyes needing to be bloodshot. What was your timeframe to finish these, and any chance you can mention the map sizes? I'm always curious to compare game specs. Keep up the great work
The model looks good,so as the textures in the mine.Only thing i notice here that, you have that plus shaped mesh on top of the HP mine, which is not transferred well in the low poly. You might add a mesh instead, which improves the look of the LP.I would also prefer a better spec on this one! Vj
Yeah the i7/330 combo seems to be pretty incredible, I was going to recommend a MBP as I've had two over the last 4 years or so and they're by far the best laptops I've ever owned, gotta love that build quality not that price though! Isn't that spec you described like £1800?
Now it looks like mossy concrete? I think you need to work up the specular highlights or even go one further and leave the diffuse map as it is and make a spec map to make it shiney underneath the scratches and dirt. The texture is a big improvement though I'm not too sure about the green. -caseyjones
I would also highly recommend researching the web stores where you want to sell. Carefully read their tech specs, plot out what their requirements are. Compare them all against each other, find the common denominator and prepare to that. Arnold is not the commonality I'll wager. Pbr most likely is.
