Sounds like most Nolan films. they are awesome but then you start finding the plot holes, get mad, and then forgive him since it was an epic ride anyway xD so Im prob gonna see it. thanks guys!
Idea 1 is like Epic's rock mesh for the GDC demo level. Which i must say, is the best rock asset I have ever seen, you should check it out if you haven't already.
@FreneticPonies Thanks. I actually took the time and examined epics tree models and also some real trees this time. I'm really happy with the new conifers. Now that i look at it the old ones were horrible.
I don't know, it should feel more epic I think. I mean look at the Egyptians created in that desert, everything is frickin huge. Yours feels tiny in comparison. Great baking and texture-work though! :)
Yo Tea&Cigs, Epic just released an extra chapter's worth of tutorial content that goes along pretty well with your Foliage DVD. The spline method for branches and leaf placement actually works in their favor. Cool!
liek! Gonna be a fun few months for me between this thread, the other civil war thread, and the Sze Jones CGWorkshop coming up later this month :D 2011 is kicking off to an epic start XD:poly124::thumbup:
It's not from Finlad? ;-) Cool Erik, shall have a good look later. Btw, I'm getting this [AD-SIZE] where I should be seeing an image, have I got some damn adware or something? anyone?
nice work guys loving that armor on zxcman's and sauron yours is pretty epic too, looks like a summoning went wrong. I see it as if she were almost floating, as her feet are barely touching the ground.
Oh also, to add to Daz's post, I recall reading some more good info about UE3 from Rorshach... Multiple positions open at Epic (just stay on topic by not posting any tech questions there)
looks real simple, real clean, real nice. only thing i can think is to seperate the images into sections (personal preference). i really like the epic test, mind if i could see the wireframe on that.
