thanks, but just to be clear, it's just that that acog has a assymetrical part so because of that I was debating wether or not to do it, since I lose a bit of "realism". LOVE the game so far, and I'm glad to see a bit of a renaissance with turn-based RPG's (Wasteland 2 and Divinity coming along soon). The sense of humor that game has is great too, some of the stuff makes me laugh out loud. Huge props to the dev team! In the future I hope some of the small kinks and annoyances get worked… -

How big is the texutre? That's very important with very low poly objects like this one. Also your UVs are very inefficiently packed, and I'm surprised your instructor hasn't pointed that out already. There are huge gaps inbetween every piece and that's a big problem. Over all it looks nice, however efficiency is crucial… -

My take: Personal work - generally not okay. If you don't have the skills to make the base mesh yourself, then you're getting yourself into trouble by taking the fundamentals from someone else who has put in the time, who knows about topology and proportions and style. Okaay, quick update here from the previous one. Progressed with placing around all items and I could say everything is more or less where things go! Not having lightmaps in any of my meshes is making all the repeatable elements stand out a fair bit, but hopefully this will corrected once I start modelling and texturing… -

i find it is kinda dropping off a bit due to a few factors but what is dropping off is being gained in indie games, with a exception being valve games. most new games like cod or bfbc don't allow modding or make it a bitch to due, but on the other hand there is valve who has made a business of hiring on mod teams, examples… -
