You guys are right on the money! I did some sketches of her for a female face study, It had been awhile since I have drawn any female faces. In the end I'm excluding that concept but it was a good practice :)
AWESOME!!!! very cool, i love it as i understand it, dreams are often a form of rehearsal or practice. subconscious learning and all that.. it looks like you're gaining a new degree of personal empowerment and self liberation. MORE POWER TO YOU!!
Yeah I completely understand what you are saying. I've gotten a lot better at gestures from that first day... we do them 3 hours every class but I'm going to start practicing outside of class.
Just a quick update with how the assets are going. Foliage was just a practice getting it to work inside UE4. I think the crates may be a bit too dark but let me know what yo guys think. Ethan
Forge welding is a type of welding that has been practiced as long as blacksmithing itself so it's totally fair game. Weld SEAMS however are very modern and are created through modern weld technique. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forge_welding
A2M did a keynote demo of using Maya as there game engine for wet, And pretty much all that became main stream Maya from that was Viewport 2.0 and anim layers. It did look very impressive and extremely practical though.
You are going to get MUCH more practical knowledge from GDC than you do from SIGGRAPH. GDC is far less technical and much more production-centric in its topics (SIGGRAPH is awesome, but in a different way).
Thanks so much guys! Yeah the attachment works thanks Zwebbie! Yeah I agree about the drawing stuff too I am not that great at drawing on paper but I think the practicing alone regardless of the outcomes will be helpful.
I really wish I knew how to make my own textures. I know how to unwrap I know how to get texture reference I just need to practice making my own textures.
