Download the engine and get Epics samples from the marketplace. Within the content examples project there's a map that shows you how they break down making a level. For everything else, there's YouTube. And my signature.
I really like CoDs singleplayer but I never really like the multiplayer. I think with Dice handling MoH multiplayer it'll be pretty badass and epic if it can feel like battlefield.

So you are basically saying that UDK is a buggy piece of shit and Epic can't even put together a mediocre renderer that works in basic scenarios. Yes I'm sure. The images don't lie.
if you mention all assets belong to epic you could put it in there... but I don't see why you would want to... Its not impressive that you can put lego pieces together.
UE4 comes with an FPS template (with all weapon/game logic in Blueprints ... or C++ if you prefer) and an FPS sample game. Should be a good starting point! Disclosure : I work at Epic. :) www.unrealengine.com
Ya! I was actually considering killing the yellow in the bg altogether, it was seemign distracting but i was being indecisive about it, might just take that suggestion and go for it :) Yea hes a pretty epic jumper ;)
