It's almost certainly a difference in build quality or materials. For painting all you get with increased pressure levels is more precise rounding, it still has to somehow fit your input into whatever brush/canvas size you're working with and 8bit color to render it to the screen. Even if there is a difference and you can…
Thanks so much for the feedback! I was not expecting anyone to be so helpful right off the bat :) Wireframes from Blender - http://imgur.com/a/IT5ci Textures - http://imgur.com/a/pqXSx As far as a challenging thing to model... how about this thing? Also, don't dismiss alternative products besides an intuos. If cost is a factor, monoprice makes graphics tablets that are way cheaper. - The only lost of quality is all the bells and whistles of a Wacom(touch screens, mouse, etc). I own a cintiq and a intuos 4 and I also have 12x9 monoprice tablet. Although the monoprice…
Looks nifty but I'm sad that they're treating Inquisitors like Space Marines. From all the short stories, novels and the Inquisitor tabletop game they operate more like Spectres from Mass Effect with a squad of hand picked companions from every walk of life. There's even interesting conflict within their numbers where some…
by mouse you say!? I advice you look up using vector graphics or pixel art, a good start with these being ultra lowpoly. bar pixel art and vector graphics a graphics tablet is a must. If you want to give a graphics tablet a try it takes a week or 2 to get used to and there are plenty of budget tablets that should do well…
Hmm. I don't know how I feel about ultrawide screens. I'd prefer going with (2) 2560x1440 screens for the price of htat one 3440x1440. In addition, I feel like it'd be a pain in the ass if you're a tablet user as most tablets are built to work well with 16:9 formats. Having something ultrawide means that for any app that…
Originally this guy was a funny boss in a tabletop RPG I ran, in which the players faced a bunch of evil musical robots. Their leader was an inventor/musician named Doctor Octave, who sat in a giant-walking-spider-chair from which he played soul-crushingly terrifying melodies. I thought he was interesting enough to make a…
Hey guys, I'm completely new to Zbrush and comming from 3DS Max the navigation, UI and general workflow is just weird and quirky. Do you maybe have any tips on how to set up Zbrush to feel just a little more like 3DS Max? Also what is the recommended setup for tablet? Especially how to set up my pen grip buttons and 4…
I've been drooling after tablet pc's and iPads for concept art and sculpting stuff. I don't hate my bamboo tablet but somehow it feels bit odd drawing with it. I would love to be able to just lay on the sofa and do some sketching or concepting. Recommendations for tablet for that kind of stuff? What tablets have pressure…
For me the difference between drawing on a screen and drawing on a tablet is accuracy and sketching. for me it's much harder to just naturally sketch on a tablet cause i rarely do the lines i want on the first try. But on my phone or a tablet it's easy to just brain storm. Painting on the other hand isn't a problem either…
