INTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS run the script, through maxscript -> run script... -> select the script under customize -> customize user interface -> toolbars -> category "FMC" -> there should be a macroscript there :) now drag that macroscript to any toolbar that you wish the button to run the script to be :) -

nice final, only question is, whats with the video screens? The rest of the piece is this beautiful pastel stylized shop with sexy lighting and color scheme and an some kinda alien language sign... and crappy 1990's PS1 game FMV's playing on the screens? -

Depends from studio to studio, some of them require basic skills like you said, others require a more database like build for stuff to be synchronized on a sever XML style. It would be nice if studio's actually bothered telling what they are looking for. -

I just found this image from Suite 1 Is there any chance to get option "Reimport Inputs"? This could be very usefull. I tried to change Curvature location through *.xml project file hoping that it will be working fine, but nothing really happend. -

As far as #3 is concerned - assuming you're talking about a live, physical presentation during an interview - practice is essential, especially if you're not used to public speaking. Make up some index cards - or even scraps of paper - listing features you feel are important, then put those notes into a coherent form, and… -

blender's file format - according to the internet - is nasty. with that in mind I'd be inclined to write a script that dumped metadata out to separate file (json/xml/whatever) on save and catalog that. There's probably a bunch of open source database tools that handle standard formats like that instead -

Unity is built to handle version control and you can force it to keep all meta data in xml format to make merging possible. Laying in color palatte (mostly at the shadow level, not pure local). Sort of confused about what local color the ball gems should be . . .. I tried the bright fel green, but it felt off . . . Anyone else have any critiques about this at a color level? -

As a canadian, you can pretty easily get a 1 year work visa. H1b? We had a guy who came down to work for us at 8ml with that, and i'm pretty sure its "renable" so it can be more of a long term thing potentially. -

Anything by Looking Glass. Another vote for System Shock 1+2 (Play 2 with the rebirth update). Terranova was squad based play years before swat/rainbow six etc and had fmv cut scenes which actually told a decent story.
